The Courrèges family have been growing grapes at Château LE SENS in Saint Caprais de Bordeaux since the 18th century (French revolution 1789). Detailed know-how has thus been handed down through eight generations of winegrowers in a moderated way of agriculture.
Francis and Franck In 1993, Francine took over the management of the family estate, together with her husband, who has a winemaking degree from Bordeaux University.

Advice before drinking our wines Two kinds of sediments are created by the bottled wines. The first one looks like micro crystals, the second one tints the inside surface of the bottle. This is totally natural ! It is only the expression of this alive product ! For the red wines, decant the bottle without shaking it. Let the wine breathing the air for some hours in a wide carafe and at the temperature of the room where you will taste it. For the white wines, that must be served cold, you must not shake the bottle so as to keep the micro-crystal’s sediments in the bottom. Keep the bottle in an ice bucket. If you do not drink the whole bottle, you can close it again with the former cork or a plastic top of bottle.
